Local weather wherever you are
Find temperature, rain and wind forecasts for UK cities and towns, including inland places such as London and Bristol. You do not need to be near the sea to use Seyva.
More detail for time on the water
Coastal pages combine weather, tide times, sea temperature where available and water-quality information where the sources provide coverage. Seyva highlights swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking windows that match its public starter settings. The app finds sessions around your own preferences for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. Follow a session with Seyva Plus for alerts when its forecast changes. Built by Ollie Bartlett
Ollie is the founder of Seyva, a sea swimmer and paddleboarder based near Worthing. Seyva grew from the practical problem of checking weather, tides and water-quality information in different places before deciding when to go out.
Ollie writes Seyva’s activity guides from the perspective of an enthusiast. The guides link to relevant official sources and explain the limits of the available information; they are not professional safety advice.
Where the information comes from
Forecasts and environmental information come from the providers listed on our data-sources page. The How it works guide explains the public activity settings and how to read a match. If water-quality information is missing, the forecast says “Not available”.
Each guide shows when its content was last reviewed. If you spot an error or have useful local knowledge to share, contact Seyva.
Seyva is a planning aid. Check local conditions and official warnings before entering the water; an activity match never guarantees safety.
